My boss thinks I'm an idiot. This appears to be because:
a) They have no real idea of what is involved in what I do
b) They have no real idea how difficult it is for me to function *at all* some days
c) They have fallen into the culture of "done extensively, and done yesterday"
d) I am not psychic, and do not know what they were thinking three months ago.
I'm fucked right off - I'm good at my job, but not in these circumstances. Too many chiefs, too many obstacles and too hierarchical without anywhere near enough reality checks given to those at the top.
No wonder I'm cracking up.

You blame other people...?
Harsh - and not, I think, fair.
I'm fully aware of my own shortcomings - and even where I have dropped the ball on more than one occasion.
I just think an environment where "do it" doesn't take into account reality is a bit of a problem.
Totally agree.
I certainly wasn't meaning it from the 'critical' point of view. Just interested in your own experience. Feel free to tell me to shut the fuck up and I will.
No, it's fine. I'm usually wrong anyway !
Lol - I like a man who knows his limits ;0)
